RUNNER TESTIMONIALS:

"I just wanted to say thanks for putting on such a great race on Saturday. I really enjoyed the course, it was marked well and had great aid stations at just the right points. Please also pass along a big Thank You to all the volunteers you had out there. I thought they were great and so supportive. Since the weather wasn't the best, I know it must have gotten really cold for the volunteers, I just hope they know how much their support and cheering meant to all the runners especially those running the 50K."-Amanda Ewing-1st Place Female 25K

"Wow, thanks for a great race! Although I was leery of running a race in its inaugural year, Cheyenne Mountain 50k was amazing. The aid stations and volunteers were superb. I've run a number of trail marathons/ultras, and this was one of the best."

"Your aid stations were second to none, even the West-coast ultras, which I consider the Gold Standard. Nicely done.

Not to say it was easy. It was my slowest 50k ever despite the beautiful trails, about the same pace as the notoriously nasty Bandera course, so you have a tough course there, and that's a good thing. Maybe next year you could provide oxygen for us lowlanders?"

"Thanks so much for a great race. You and everyone involved truly made an incredible event happen.

The course marking was great.....even though I have run the course several times, there did not appear to be any turns/intersections, etc that would have caused concern.

· Aid stations were placed very well to take advantage of traffic in both directions, for both races. Well stocked with products and volunteers.

· Porta potties were plentiful....or so it seemed? [yes they were plus we had clean, heated indoor facilities]

· The overall organization could not have been better....packet pickup, your communications prior to the race, Steve's prerace info speech, food before and after the race (that is almost unheard of to feed folks bagels before the race...)"

"It was a great race, I think I would definitely put it on my top 3 list!"

“Thank you for putting together such a wonderful race! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Great 25K loop, great aid stations, great volunteers, great atmosphere, and great race packets. The many hours of hard work put in to plan this event were absolutely evident. Congrats on a fabulous inaugural race!!!”
